I really like all the miiverse stuff and splatoon looks so neat. I really wonder if I would get much use out of a wiiu tho, or if it would collect dust after a short while like the Wii and gcube did. I just don't play competitive games for very long.

I got 300 bux in amazon gift cards from being awesome at work burning a hole in my virtual wallet tho. :ohdear:

Do you like character action games like devil may cry any bayonetta, because if so some of the best are on wii u and they are great for single player.

well with Splatoon, they trickle out content so there's actually motivation to keep playing. new weapons every couple weeks and there are still two entire game modes and more maps to be unlocked.
there are plenty of other good wii u games too.

e: and this is to say nothing of potential Splatoon dlc in the future

Being bad at DMC doesn't mean you'll be bad at Bayonetta. Bayonetta is way more button mash friendly and gives you a super invincible dodge that you can do out of everything and slows time if done at the right moment, whereas DMC locks you into most of your animations and its dodging is more about completely avoiding or interrupting attacks and controls that take some getting used to. Basically Bayonetta feels really fluid while DMC is much more rigid. Neither is strictly better than the other, but they're different styles of game in the same basic genre. I'd say DMC is generally harder to adapt to, and Bayonetta 2 is a really forgiving entry to the series.

Wonderful 101 is its own beast.

When the Wii came out, the motion control novelty lasted a day and few games came out for it.

I got the WiiU half a year ago, the pad is still fun and I still have things I'm looking forward too on it.

it will also play the few Wii games that were good, like Mario Galaxy.
