Costco does have Business Delivery, but that quantity probably isn't what you are looking for. They are experimenting with home delivery through Google Express of everyday items like groceries to compete with Amazon Fresh.

Currently this service is only in a limited amount of areas (I know San Francisco is included), but you can check out the site and see if it includes your town: https://www.google.com/shopping/express/?redirect=false#HomePlace:s=0&c=60&m=9090995&mall=SanFrancisco

Nah. Already tossed it out. Marked it up as a :10bux: lesson learned.

Sometimes when you try new stuff, it just doesn't work out.

I'd like to know the name brand of the tri-tip burgers and the chicken/wild rice bowls mentioned though. Gotta swing up to town tomorrow anyway so I can stand to grab some of them and get my eat on.

My Costco has stopped carrying two of my favorite staples: the fresh vegetarian stuffed grape leaves from the refrigerated section, and the big jars of Blue Hill Bay pickled herring. I used to stock up on those all the time!

Once, the other Costco in town even had whole smoked whitefish from Blue Hill Bay, which was incredible. Unfortunately, I never saw it again at either location.

Next time go with the chicken alfredo or meat lover's calzones, can't go wrong with that. If your store offers the deep dish pizza that's also extremely my poo poo.

My mom loves that chicken alfredo. I might have to give it a whirl.

We don't have deep dish or calzones :(

I have a tiny convection oven though, so if they did have em, they might be too big to cook in the wee oven I have.

Does anyone have any recommendations for frozen food (salmon patties, etc) or anything just "OMG AWESOME" that I need to try? Gonna feel kinda stupid going there for a bag of pretzel rolls and the chicken/wild rice bowls.

I don't know if you've eaten the chicken alfredo before but the deli uses the same type of sauce base for the chicken alfredo and the mac and cheese. If you didn't like the taste of mac you might not like the chicken alfredo either.

The Cedarlane frozen bean & cheese burritos are good. I also like the Trident panko-breaded tilapia. Both make for excellent and relatively healthy quick meals, especially if you whip up a side of salad or veggies.

1 box man. 1 box. Not even a really big one either, just one of those wine boxes they cut in half :saddowns:

Mahi Mahi filets
Pretzel rolls
tri tip steak
chicken sandwiches
chicken flautas
chicken fried rice
big pizza

That was basically the entire shopping list and it came out to about 96 bucks.

Our Costco has huge bags of frozen BibiGo wontons, dumplings, probably some other things I missed. You can microwave them but they taste way better after boiling them. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce (does Costco carry any good sauces?) and eat. A satisfying low calorie snack.

Microwave them then pop them into a shallow pan with about half an inch of boiling water on the bottom, and they're the bestest. Also, they have this roti bread (I think Roti Paratha) that is frozen, and you fry it both sides on a dry pan for 2-3 minutes, and it's awesome. I use them for tacos.

I like the other salsa in the similar containers, the Garden Fresh Gourmet brand. It has a nice, fresh, cilantro-ey taste, with a medium heat from fresh jalapenos that isn't overpowering.

Pretty sure Jelinek and Sinegal would self-immolate before they ever let that happen. Costco's stock prices have doubled since 2009, despite the ownership's open hostility to shareholder interests, and its not-Walmartness is a key element of its success.

Has anyone mentioned Costco's optometrist services? They're fab. Significantly cheaper than the quite-good vision plan my husband gets through his job. We'd never buy glasses or tires anywhere else.
