I hate that kana font because I thought that top part said some nonsense like koriwariito at first.

Who purposely writes ン like ソ or リ anyway.

Speaking of which, has anybody watched the Syd Mead interview on the Rightstuf Turn A DVDs? I'm curious if there's anything interesting in those.

Rolling Girls was disappointing, but only because it didn't live up to the potential the first couple episodes showed. It never got bad, and was always gorgeous. I'm glad I finished it, at any rate.

i need to finish it but yeah, it definitely wasn't a bad show. just different from what i expected, and the similarities between this premise and R*G just have me keeping said expectations in check.

They broke street date on Vol1 too, I got mine a couple weeks early. due to however the rights are handled, they have some series where they set and can thus break street date.

To be fair, no-one's really weeping over BBB's final episode considering what we've seen of the anime-exclusive content.

Also to be fair, Season 2 will eventually kick more rear end whenever it comes around.

And now I'm off to marathon Gatchaman Crowds in the mornin' and eagerly anticipate Gangsta. Peace!

I have spent 27 hours in Fire Emblem Awakening and I'm contemplating restarting it because all of these children are turning out to be poo poo. Except for Owain, who is very much my poo poo.

the kids are always the same

they have different hair colors and stats based on their dads but the writing is always the same

That's what I meant. They're falling really easily, but I might also just be bad. I'm just saying Owain in my poo poo regardless and I think he's supposed to be a better mage anyways.

All the kids start at level 10. Even with slightly boosted stats, they're probably going to be a bit behind the level curve wherever you're at. Restarting isn't going to change any of that. You might want to consider a bit of grinding to get them up to speed.

My Owain was pretty much invincible in my game. He had absurd speed and I reclassed him to be the version of the heavily armoured knight on the horse. Everything only had 10-20% chance of hitting him and if they did it was only for 4-5 damage. He essentially solo'd the final map for me.

Butt Ghost
Nov 23, 2013

I think I just need to level them, then. They're all still somewhere between 10 and 13, except for Lucina who's already a Great Lord.

It looks like I'm going to finish the first season of Higurashi tonight. This show is just too spooky for me. The later episodes aren't nearly as creepy as the earlier episodes but it still keeps me on edge a little bit.
