The only vehicle I've ever spent a lot of time in that I felt was genuinely too slow to keep up with traffic was a late 90s Ford Transit with the non-turbo 2.5. Not sure how much power it had but I think it was around 75hp when brand new so loaded it wouldn't have been far off your number.

It's a small block V8 with mechanical fuel injection they're pretty rare and very valuable. Since that's a 61-62 Vette I'm not sure if it'd be the 283 or 327. edit: If it's a 62 it has the 327, otherwise the 283. Q_res fucked around with this message at 09:11 on Jul 1, 2015 |

My own personal terrible car stuff. When i lived in the states in the early 2000's i bought my first car, a 1994 Mitsubishi Diamante LS. It's not a terrible looking car and had a bucket load of extras for it's age: I spent far too much money and time trying to make it something it wasn't, including 3 weeks hand sanding the intake plenum and painting some engine bay trim: But worst was removing the resonators, adding a Y pipe and getting some flat tips for a side exit exhaust: Not the most garish thing in the world, but what the hell was young me thinking in trying to pimp out a sedan?!

It's not that bad? Looks like the under the hood stuff was mostly "I take care of my car, I should make it look good," stuff, and the side pipes were probably the worst thing. I think the factory spoiler and chrome trim are worse than your edits though. v v Wasabi the J fucked around with this message at 14:45 on Jul 2, 2015 |

Agree that the car isn't too bad - you didn't go over the top with goofy decals, trim, or add-on pieces and everything else is more for cleanliness sake. Even the side pipes aren't that bad, at least they aren't sticking out like crazy

Well, the exhaust does suck. But nothing wrong with that vintage mits sedan. I quite like the evo 3 sedan (last of the light weight platform), and the mits magnas (similar car to yours), weren't too bad. I'd always prefer the ford falcon, but the mits magna did have some quick sports models, including a 4wd one. Nothing wrong with sedans, all the good mits sold here were sedans, even going back to the old galant rally cars that were around before the lancer/evo. I have to respect the hand polished intake. The side exhaust is a bit "eh," but I think the spoiler is fine.
