Wait, have we never actually had a "nonsense, this is an election year" category? Huge oversight if so.

Ramirez has made multiple comics about Greece, but he's been pretty "poo poo man we need to fix this" about them. With that context in mind, maybe Ramirez actually thinks Sanders would turn Greece around? Nah, nevermind, too much thought devoted to Ramirez.

Go on then. Do it. Do something the Wolverines would do. Not drawing graffiti on the White House in your lovely webcomic. Something real. Something tangible. Something that demonstrates you are truly courageous and dedicated in your resistance of the foreign communist authoritarian that has invaded America.

I can also parse a sort of bizarro "Give us your huddled masses, keep the criminals" angle. No matter which way you slice it, Lester is actually cheer-leading Donald Trump. That's something literally no one else will do if they are not a background actor getting paid $50 or his daughter trying to stay in good favor for inheritance.

Trump is getting killed by this, already several Republican latino organizations have demanded either an apology from him or the GOP to issue some kind of reprimand. The best part is the blowback isn't hitting just him, the other candidates are getting smeared for not calling him out on it, and in addition the democratic candidates are able to make hay on how he represents the Republican party and how out of touch they are. Really a perfect storm of insanity and exactly what I expected when he entered the race.

I feel like we're all supposed to see Jeb! as the inevitable Republican candidate, like Romney was last time, but the Republican primary seems like a contest to be the candidate that the electorate works out its remaining anger toward W on and then passed over in the general.
