I kinda hope there is one "hoax" episode because its always a concept I wish they did more of and it would be great to do it with this series sense everyone will be expecting everything to be real since hey we seen crazier stuff on the show.

Mulder is present for the entirety of season 7, but people usually say that's where the mytharc starts to really devolve. I personally really enjoyed season 7, though, and there are significant sections of the main story arc in that season you may not want to miss. Season 8 is where Mulder disappears, but the season is about his eventual return, so you may not want to miss the ending. Season 9 basically has no Mulder in it for the entirety until the finale.

I skipped to the finale and was totally into it...and then it became something else for an hour. Something....horrible. And then it got schlocky, and I realize I watched that episode live when I was a kid. Super weird.

I've watched Hannibal recently, and it actually ruined my hype for XFiles because Anderson's performance in that series is abysmal, and that's putting it mildly. Hopefully she'll do better once reintroduced to the Files.

It's a stylized performance, but so are all of them on that show.

The only reason I haven't bought any of the X-Files Pop Vinyls is because they gave Scully a flashlight and Mulder a gun, instead of vice versa like it should be. The internet seems to be failing me here - is Fox actually airing this 1 episode a day marathon somewhere, or are they just encouraging fans to do it? Half of the articles i read seem to imply they're airing it, but without any channel or time specified, while others say it's just a "fan encouragement" thing. Personally, I don't see why they wouldn't air it. It's not like there's tons of other original programming on FXX at 8pm that can't be relocated.

Watching the 2 episodes where Mulder switches bodies with someone and Rachel, Nevada is nothing like in the show. There is gently caress all there and that includes roads lol.
