Happy for Tony Martin, awesome win for him. GC battle was a let down. Froome was under pressure a few times but they never put the hammer down. His attempt to attack was stupid though and futilely flicking his elbow at GVA while Tejay is barely hanging on the back shows how tactically clueless he is.

gently caress Chris Froome. That was a hell of a breakaway by Martin, he caught them sleeping. I know Sky isn't too worried though, they are probably happy that they don't have to be clenched butthole for a whole two and a half weeks. Nibali tried and couldn't get it done in that sector.

He did ride a good race and I honestly thought he was going to take off at the end like Martin did eventually. Having Geraint Thomas to tow you around all day helps I guess.
