Doesn't the Navy upsize if anything during peacetime compared to other branches? More and longer carrier deployments and less people going IA!

He used another inmate's name on the return address but still sent the letter direct to the Chinese Embassy from a military prison? Did he really not expect that to throw up flags?

The thing about being a traitor these days is you can't get much money for it. You got retards giving the poo poo away for free on shaky moral ground (or are outright spies but I mean you end up in Russia lol) or because they are throwing a hissy fit. You got some juicy info and try to get 7 figs and a non extraditable country Intel dudes will just laugh and wait a few years. And also report your dumb rear end.

Yeah, it showed up on Facebook, it wasn't anything hilariously prescient like Diddler or McFeely.

Well, that's true, but it's kind of predicated on still being in an active squadron to hand them out. One could make the argument that he no longer rates a callsign, and that he's no longer technically a pilot since he now has the same future chance of flying a Hornet as, say, Charles Manson.

I'm sure his new cell mates have given him some amusing nicknames, though.

I'm not a submariner but I don't see any reason why pasty spergs shouldn't have a career field just because they're female.

We had four women serve on my submarine while I was on it. Three of them were highly competent and an asset to the ship. A 3:1 ratio of useful:fucktard is about the same as it is for the male officers.

It was kind of annoying having to wait to use the shower sometimes. They also got staterooms regardless of seniority which is kind of bullshit from the viewpoint of the male officers. Also they really put the wardroom at a disadvantage for the Chiefs vs. Officers softball game.

Also some people went overboard with political correctness/walking on eggshells. This tapered off somewhat over time. (we were all-male for the first half of my tour)

There is some definite favoritism for the female submariners w/r/t things like detailing, JOOY consideration, etc. They tend to get easier checkouts from the enlisted guys too.

All of the problems I have with it are cases of "special treatment" rather than "equality". These will probably become less commonplace as female submariners become the norm instead of new and special.

Overall it worked well enough. Integrating female enlisted is going to be a lot more expensive and a lot more of a pain in the rear end though. (that's coming next year FYI)

Same poo poo happened when we went on combatants in the late 90's. It was SUPER awkward at first and all the not ugly chicks did gently caress all and took forever to get qualed and suddenly had all of their signatures at the last minute, because guys had no idea how to treat us. Also we got hit on a ton, and inappropriate touching and language was more common then, but it was a different atmosphere altogether. It'll be fine.

I've recently been to sea with three female officers and can honestly say people treat the very differently! Two of them were very new to the navy whilst one was an ex rating[enlisted] so was more aware of how things worked but can safely say she was the one that moaned the most!!!

They bounced me around NIOC HI-North Island, OSU at the NOSC San Diego, and another one based out of Cornodo that I cant think of, for a year and a half, no one mustered me but each Chief told me they figured I was doing something so just counted me as being there. But if you get 87114 (NIOC HI-NI) That's my command, full of CTRs and a few CTTs (me, and some first classes) and a couple of CTNs.
