So elop sends a memo saying " our current platform is poo poo, we're abandoning it and moving to windows", then it takes over a year(?) to get out a windows mobile 7 for mobile phones phone, while they are releasing doa symbian phones every other month. Immediately after they get a windows 7 phone out, microsoft announces the release on windows 8 in a couple of months and that it will not be backwards compatible with windows 7 phones. Also windows 8 phones have no official apps for anything and the app store is a cesspool of malware. Why don't people buy nokia phones anymore

So Bing will be sold off next right? They already sold off Bing Maps to Uber so they're not against the idea I can see Apple buying it as a way of owning the entire process and removing relying on Google because they already use them for Siri. Like not even having it as a web-based search, just obscured integration for apps.
