They just smoked that black turkey for a bit too long. The meat's still gonna be awesome. Kamodo smokers are great for burning birds. Apple chips are my favorite. Protip: don't eat the smoked turkey skin or the worst episode of is in your immediate future. It's delicious and crispy! Seriously though, don't eat it! I can vouch for this personally. Making stock from the carcass is troublesome. Not worth it imo, just get some bouillon.

No idea why. The meat is amazing and doesn't require gravy or juices. The stuffing also gets the smoke flavor in it and tastes 10x better than oven roasted imo

TRIP REPORT Ruffles Poutine Chips Let me preface this by saying that I am a Canadian, born and raised. Poutine is as sacred to us as hockey and maple syrup, so I was originally hesitant to try this. Some prodding by my fiancee (quote: "I'm sure as poo poo not putting that crap in my mouth") convinced me to give it a shot. So here we go. I've chosen to pair my chips with a nice glass of 1% today, in case you were wondering. The smell is what hit me first - it smells like the inside of a Costco. Sort of a warehouse-y, bland smell. Not a great start. The chips are sort of bland. Not a lot of flavour - I was expecting a lot more salt, so I'm almost pleasantly surprised by that. You know those packs of dried gravy mix you can buy? Like, dad's coming over with his new girlfriend for Thanksgiving, mom's been dead for 6 years so you can't ask her how she made that gravy you love so much, the one that reminds you of happier times, so you rush out and buy one of these? Yeah? That's what these chips taste like. If you just rubbed some of that gravy powder on your gums, like the saddest attempt at getting high ever. And it lingers. There's no cheese curd taste, just sort of the sad gravy flavour, like the chips (with an expiry date 5 weeks in the future) are already stale. Anyway I finished the whole bag. It wasn't very good. 2/10 probably won't buy again. Ketchup chips are still the champion, with dill pickle a close second. edit: It's been an hour since lunch, and I've washed my hands twice, and the smell is still there Antioch has a new favorite as of 19:54 on Jul 13, 2015 |

Please. Not even a raccoon could be into that. Also, I keep hearing the chocolate ruffles were really, really good, but I never got the chance to try them when they were in stores. I kinda feel like I missed out. Then I remember what kind of food I'm feeling upset on missing out on and feel a little ill inside.

The Doritos "Late Night" series that were around here for a little while a few years ago ("Last Call Jalapeno Popper", "Tacos at Midnight", and "All Nighter Cheeseburger") were all amazing, especially the cheesburger flavour. Probably the best novelty chip flavour I've had in recent memory.
