I can't feel any real sympathy for Conde Nast, because well the guy is scum regardless of his orientation, but Gawker are still rear end in a top hat tabloid writers. Somehow though the neoreactionaries think that Gawker is some legitimate representation of the "left".

The Time Dissolver posted:poo poo, I played the hell out of that. Honored to speak to you. Oh, I joined the company too late to do any development on it, I mostly just did some play testing and level layout while Howard fixed the last few bugs. I did do some work on trying to port it to PowerPC though! Unsuccessfully, alas. The original code was a mix of 68K assembly and Pascal (for which there wasn't a PowerPC compiler available for a while), and it wasn't really feasible in the time I had available while also in school. Now there's a rewrite available on the App Store, plays just like I remember it!

Oh, Aurini! From 2012:Aurini on LessWrong posted:The worst crimes of the holocaust were a conspiracy within the Nazi government. The Nuremburg trials had testimony from an investigator who was attempting to prove his supicions of these practices, and ultimately prosecute the offenders who were killing the Jews. It is likely that only a few hundred Germans were directly involved. That whole LessWrong thread is a neoreactionary delight! For some values of. I'm not a Nazi, I just spend lots and lots of time reading about Nazis, trying to figure out ways they weren't the worst monsters in recent human history, putting Hitler pictures on my walls, and buying anything with a swastika on it. I'm totally not a Nazi, I'm just trying to approve of as much of what they did as I can possibly convince myself wasn't too bad, and trying to correct historical misconceptions about just how wrong, exactly, a racist genocidal expansionist state being portrayed as such isn't really quite fair. I'm not a Nazi, I'm just interested in being as close as possible to them as I can without feeling like I have to call myself one. If other people say I'm being one, they clearly don't understand the situation as well as I do.

Great minds, however, use the dictates of pure reason to arrive at the best decision. A clear consensus simply means that the best minds are all in the same place. The grey tribe transcends tribes. Aurini really is going to go down attempting a spree shooting, isn't he?
