In terms of the Yukiko/Teddie thing, it really comes down to what you want out of a healer: Do you want someone who can both heal AND do massive damage? (Especially in Golden, since she gets Mind Charge) Go with Yukiko. She has fire powers and healing, and if I remember correctly, she actually has a bigger SP pool than her HP pool at high levels. Do you want someone who can heal and buff you up? Teddie is there. He doesn't get any real changes in Golden, besides some wacky physicals that apply statuses, but he's still useful as a support guy. Also he gets Ice, in case you're not using Chie. I don't really dislike anyone in the P4 series, the only one I'd say is boring is MAYbe Yukiko, but I've become more endeared towards her with her interactions with the party members in the spin-offs, where she makes threats with a straight face. Good comedy.

I never got to that point in either playthrough though. If you break Ai's S Link you are a horrible person and deserve neither Ai nor a Perfect S Link run.
