Hellsing was never my kinda bag but the characters seem really enthusiastic about killing and that struck me as fairly well-adjusted for the kind of story they're in

I looked up amvs set to the song The Trooper, and can only find ones of the Iron Maiden version. Hellsing is shlocky, pulpy, excessively violent Hollow Earth Vatican vampire fanfiction and I wouldn't want it any other way. Helps that it's one of the few modern works to get vampires right.
