Though this one is also great. Lots of great tracks for all the different areas and battles. I wish more RPGs went the Earthbound route of having tons of battle themes instead of just like, 4 for the entire game.

Work Harder is number 1 but I like any of the ___'s Call songs.

What's a sireen anyway, did he misspell Siren and end up sticking with it or is there an actual character or something in the game called sireen?

My favorites that haven't been mentioned are:

Go Home Johnny

I feel like it would've been good for the fight against your gang

Shardy's Shanty
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbBAMTF-yY4

Especially when it plays during "Use Tardy's corpse as a boat?"

That scene just beautifully encapsulates how awful everything is.

Garbage Day
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltBKUen1sw

It's probably the only song in the game I'd call 'pleasant'.

Goodbye
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWggs66Fv9U

I don't think this is ever used in the game, though the other version
Goodbye Baby is used during the final boss fight with Rando
. It's used to great effect in the Kickstarter trailers.

Speaking of, on a different note, it's interesting seeing all the stuff that got cut out from just the two kickstarter trailers alone.

Also the fishman music, the Bees music, the final boss music, both bathhouse tunes, the men's hair club boss music, that lovely 15 second loop that comes out of radios, the motorcycle theme, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IVU_VYN8ZY.

Yeah, Brad had real problems (But with the poo poo he went through you can't really blame him too much), but he was the only person aside from Dusty to actually care about Buddy to protect her until she was old enough.

I don't think this has been discussed but after I beat the game I got my friend to buy it as well and after he completed the game he has his own theory that's most likely true, that the world isn't destroyed, only Brad's town and the surrounding area was affected, which got quarantined off from the rest of the world for Yado's Joy experiments. Evidence being that Nern says he got knocked unconscious by The White Flash, so it was perhaps Yado's goons knocking everyone out and kidnapping the women. Yado appears in the prologue saying that Brad's town is perfect. Yado has investors, which he probably wouldn't have if the rest of the world got wrecked. Buzzo mentions that Buddy would be joining the women when he's trying to kidnap her later on in the game, etc.

One interesting thing about the soundtrack is that the in-game speed & pitch of each song can be altered, and oftentimes is. It lets tracks stay fresh even when they get reused, I kinda wish more games would do it. Goodbye Baby, for instance, plays a lot faster in-game than on the OST.

For favorite songs, I liked Goodbye so much that it convinced me to buy the game immediately afterward, just because I wanted to see how the climax of the game (I assumed) would warrant such a gigantic-sounding dirge.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWggs66Fv9U

Bath Boys really grew on me, too. The contrast between the mostly pleasant sounds with the gritty splitting main synth is neat.

I like the idea but there's actually a problem with that. I think the investors thing was supposed to be pre-flash, along with Buzzo working with Yado.

Anyways the problem is, Nern of all people mentions that things are messed up in general. The day/night cycle, for example, has changed.

Funnily enough Lisa "The First" is mostly in a dream state except Lisa's whole life is a living nightmare so you never actually 'wake up'

Speaking of surrealism, the fact you can fall to your death down bottomless pits actually helps with that. Where is the ground?
