I also only realized how much of it was connected to actual Roman history a few months back after reading the Greek/Roman thread in Ask/Tell, which was also incredibly fascinating. Kind of made me wonder why I used to think history was so boring in middle and secondary school.

I only remember like 1 thing from my Korean history classes, and it's the myth about the origin of Korea. The rest I just got from pop culture, books, and surfing the Internet. Maybe they should make a game for Korean history as well. We also had a three kingdoms. They weren't as fun as the Chinese version though. Kankoku Musou.

I found university a lot more fun after I got therapy for my depression during the 2 years I spent in Korea for mandatory military service. The lesson here is that things can be fun if you're not sad. T'was a valuable lesson.
