Zeroisanumber posted:When I was really into hunting back in the early 00's, there was a year where hunters killed ~300,000 deer in a single season. While that was a high season, we still routinely kill about 150,000 per year up here. We have some wolves, but certainly not enough to thoroughly cull the deer herd. So if we didn't hunt them, we'd very shortly be up to our knees in deer. Wolves have become a problem here due to the deer. Yay messing with nature.

How does someone who has been involuntarily committed get a gun? I mean, I know it's always and forever too soon to talk about these things, but it has always been my understanding that's one of the big ones that will disqualify you. And that you frequently have your existing ones taken away. A few articles say his wife removed all the guns from the house at that time, so where'd this one come from? Did she give them back, or maybe did he get it at a gun show or what?

Rand Paul chain-sawed through the tax code. Lindsey Graham lit a cell phone on fire. With this move, Cruz targeted a Republican leader who has not been too popular among the GOP tea party base. Tree stands, and compound bows (to say nothing of crossbows) have insane penetrating power. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with sand and shoot it with a 270 or 30.06 rifle. Then shoot it with a 60+ pound draw compound bow and look how much further in the arrow goes. You don't 'need' a tree stand but if you're boar hunting without one you're loving insane regardless of the weapon you're using. Boars will run your rear end down in a way that even most bears wouldn't. greatn posted:Why don't we just farm the god drat things and systematically exterminate the rest? loving deer. Jewel Repetition posted:I'm an MRA as well as a feminist. Feminism is defined as "equal rights for men and women" whereas MRAs are about advancing men's rights. So you can't be one or the other; they're mutually exclusive. If you're concerned about men's issues such as being expected to be the lead in the house and be the money maker, and that men can't talk about sensitive issues, feminism is addressing these issues. There's nothing good about being an MRA as the entire movement is toxic and more about trying to lay down "sick burns" into feminism. I suggest you distance from labeling yourself as such immediately.
