Roy Sullivan: Struck by lighting seven times, survived every time.

From Wikipedia:
"On Saturday morning, June 25, 1977, Sullivan was struck while fishing in a freshwater pool. The lightning hit the top of his head, singed his hair, traveled down, and burnt his chest and stomach. Sullivan turned to his car when something unexpected occurred — a bear approached the pond and tried to steal trout from his fishing line. Sullivan had the strength and courage to strike the bear with a tree branch. He claimed that this was the twenty-second time he hit a bear with a stick in his lifetime"

This is a lot like the raccoon on the highway near my house. Struck by vehicles seven times, survived none of the times.

From Wikipedia:
"On Wednesday morning, July 29, 2015, Scottibeth was struck while eating trash in the middle of the highway. The car hit the top of his head, crushed his face, traveled down, and crushed his chest and testicles. Scottibeth peeled off the car, when something unexpected occurred - six more cars approached him and tried to steal trout from his fishing line [citation needed]. He was dead by this point and did not put up a fight. It was the first seven times he was hit by a car in his lifetime."

For some reason I get a big kick out of the fact they just crossed "dog" off the award and added "cat" above it.
