In case you didn't see it last week, obama was on the daily show. he did about 40 minutes, which is goddamn insane. If you take a 200 year long snapshot of any form of government, you usually find the same thing. Democracies, republics, monarchies...basically everything except dictatorships and communist/socialist paradises can last for centuries. France has managed to gently caress up basically every one of them, though.
