Frank Seymon's Word of the Day calendar is pretty funny, but I am even more amused at how small the average goon vocabulary must be based on some of the purported "fifty-cent words" being thrown out in this thread.

You paid fifty cents for that word, pal? Get your money back. This city has a darkness. Hell it's built on it. It permeates it. Your words, my words, they won't flip on that light switch, friendo. And even if they did, that bulb has long since been rendered useless, matriculated in the maw of this scorched concrete tundra we pretend is a "city". poo poo.

Eh, I mean the vocabulary would have made more sense with someone like Rust. It just seems slightly out of place and a little hamfisted with Frank, but in terms of hamfisted writing Frank's vocabulary is the least of this season's problems.

I would love if they did Frank's "big vocab" words ala Little Carmine from Sopranos. Have the characters he's talking to react with small winces and squirm uncomfortably.
