Also that Stella chick(Jefferson got her the job at the entrance, Helps to know who's coming and going no?) is totally in on it. take a look at David's logs, she got Morphine on 10/1, She's the only person to get Morphine, and every other drug she got was speed. or for ADHD.

Also she is apparently broke but able to afford spending money on Drugs?

Edit: Maybe In on it is too strong but definitely used by him, as doesn't she have a crush on him and jealous of how much attention Victoria gets from him?

Eh. Frank's most definitely not a good person, but he's the only antagonist thus far with real redeeming characteristics. With Nathan and kind of David there's stuff that lets you understand why they're so hosed up and possibly emphasize with that, but nothing really redeeming.

I really liked Frank after that encounter with him if you go with the peaceful route, he really came off way more understanding than I'd expected since Max went for the shot in my run. And he brings that up during the conversation as to why he should even trust her. Then you can go with the options with how Max is scared and he'll be like "Yeaah you held that gun like a wimp." brushing off that he could of eaten a bullet awhile ago. Then you get the strange friendly text from him later after that.

Oh then theres the bit where Max/Chloe start to look all down and dejected, then he caves in abit there. Makes him come off as this softy that fell into a really negative way of life.

Hahaha! Aw come on, I can't tell you everything right away! That would make for a boring story, don't you think?
Just finished the episode and needless to say, holy poo poo. This episode just elivated the series in my mind from flawed but brilliant to masterpiece.

Everything I could say about the episode has already been said at this point but I would just like to say how much I appreciated the Frank scene. In an industry obsessed with violence, it was refreshing to see a challenge where the objective was to descalate the situation. The fact that you could just give up and walk away with both Frank and his dog dead gave actual meaning to trying to pull it off.

I also particularly liked the investigation, it required some serious actual thought to line up the pieces and was satisfying as all he'll when you did.

As usual the game hits the emotional notes on point, the feeling of anxiousness and dread I felt during the barn sequence and vortex club party made me almost physically ill.

Just brilliant. Can't believe that we have to wait another month and a half or so for the final episode.

I'm trying to remember all of Max's selfies which she will invariably travel back to.

I can only think of 3

1. One she took in class.

2. One she took in bed with Chloe

3. One she took with Warren.

I think I remember taking a picture in front of a mirror, but I don't remember if that was optional or not.

Another thing I really gotta give the developers credit for, is how the alt-Price family is visibly drowning in debt, but still do their very best to stay together. That felt quite depressing. Does it really cost 1500 dollar a week to do physical rehab? Poor Chloe must have thought her family was better of if she died in that crash quite a few times.

Yeah, I talked about that further up. But she could mean any generic dark room. They are used for photography. (Well not for polaroids.)

Looking it up I got an average of around $300-500 a week, but Chloe is likely far more expensive than the usual due to her condition. I'm so glad we have the NHS, gently caress healthcare bills that's completely ghoulish.

So what do people think about Samuel? Does he actually have a clue of whats going on or is he just a bit of a hippy? He was dropping some pretty heavy hints this time round.

There are a couple others she takes in front of a mirror but they're optional. The only other unskippable polaroid with Max in it is of the butterfly in the bathroom. You can see her reflection in the bucket.

And some endgame weirdness: What's up with the double moons? Realities colliding?

Considering how this game often wears its references on its sleeve, I'm pretty sure that's a nod to 1Q84, where the protagonist travels to an alternate reality and the main obvious difference is a double moon. A Google search doesn't show up anyone else suggesting that though.

If they go that route, I think it would be interesting if one of the characters you had the option of being mean to throughout the game was the one to rescue Max, depending on your previous choices. Chloe is presumably out of the picture, so that leaves David, Frank, Victoria, and I guess Warren as the default outta nowhere option again if you were mean to all three.

David would know your location if you didn't sign the petition and/or didn't get him thrown out of the house.

Frank if you resolved the situation peacefully, he knows the location of the farm house too so that's plausible if he got tipped off by Chloe or Nathan ordered another drug drop there.

Victoria if you warned her about Nathan, presumably she's being escorted to the darkroom on the same night and would be undrugged + conscious enough to break Max out.

Warren...just knows. Gonna go ape on Jefferson/Nate again.

Yeah, that was a little TOO real, as someone who isn't anywhere near their level of debt but still has to be tight with money each week and has to pay bills late. It was sad everytime I saw a piece of paper or letter that's like "you are X overdue for your payment, Pay 10000000 dollars in 14 days or we'll take your house away" and it's like bluuughhhh

That's one of the reasons the alt universe just felt wrong to me even if the family was back together

I don't get who's putting the graffiti everywhere. It doesn't make sense for it to be Jefferson, it's not his style, and it appears places he can't possibly have been. There's one bit that seems to appear in Chloe's car ('You are going to die') between the scene transition from The Dark Room to the Vortex party. Either it's just for effect or it's tied to the supernatural stuff that's been going on.

Max does some time travel graffiti when she goes back to save Chloe's Dad. If you mark a butterfly on the fireplace it turns up for a while before finally going when you let her dad die. Since changing the timeline seems to make everyone just go along with it, someone may be messing with the timeline we're not seeing.

Alt-Chloe's financial troubles were likely exaggerated for effect. Medicaid is actually fairly good at handling things like nurses and routine care for people with disabilities. The rest of the situation was fairly spot on though, from my second-hand experience.

Just dodging spoilers to post that if anyone else has been having Life is Strange crash on startup for the PC version, they've caught the bug and it should be patched in a day or two. The cause is apparently having a 7.1 audio setup, so if you change your audio settings to 5.1 or lower it should play fine according to the developers.

Now if I could just figure out how to do that with my Logitech headphones :sigh:.
