I think there are a bunch of people who can create trailing images. I know some who could do this as if they were just going out for a stroll.
Also don't forget Canvas Curse and Mass Attack, which are both weird spinoff games but very good nontheless!

Squeak Squad is an alright game, it's just not very memorable or exceptional.

These are legitimately 3 of the 5 Kirby games that I've never played. I'm excited. (The others a Kirby Tilt n Tumble and Kirby's Avalanche). This is huge for me. I assume no sale prices/deals for getting all of the games? Don't care, this is still huge for me.

Why does everyone think I'm going to get in trouble?

Squeak Squad's only crime is that it's a mostly mediocre Kirby game, which means it's still a great platformer/beat em up.

I wish Tilt 'n Tumble would come to the VC now too, it should be possible to emulate that game with the 3DS's gyro sensor right?

A lot of the time they do a "release 3 games from the same series" thing there's some sort of sale to go with it, we'll know tomorrow

The battle system is pretty rad if you play on hard... It's like the only game on earth I would recommend a regular player play on hard. I normally hate games on hard, someone suggested it on here though and it made it a way better game in my opinion.

Return of Dreamland is really good and fun. It a lot like the recent Triple Deluxe on the 3DS, but you also have the option for four players, which is Kirby, Dedede, Waddle Dee, and Metaknight. Also it very expensive if you are looking for a physical copy, as it typical around $50 for one these days.

They're all platformers.

Kirby 64 is a more exploratory/puzzley game in the vein of Dreamland 2/3 and is notable for allowing you to combine different copy abilities.

Squeak Squad is a by-the-numbers Super Star-style game that isn't especially memorable but I wouldn't call it bad.

Return to Dreamland is another Super Star-style game and the first traditional console Kirby game since Kirby 64; the big draw is the local co-op, either with everyone playing as Kirbys or with the other players as Meta Knight, Dedede and Waddle Dee. If you've played the 3DS game you'll recognise a lot of what this game has to offer.

Regy Rusty
Apr 26, 2010

Kirby 64 is among my favorite Kirby games, mostly because of the ability combinations. It means there's a huge variety of powers. It's kind of the opposite of the Super Star/Return to Dreamland/Triple Deluxe style of powers where each one has a bunch of moves. Instead each power really does just one thing, but there's so many different combinations that it's really fun. I think some people don't like the way finding the collectibles required for the true ending works since there are a few too many instances of them requiring a specific combination that you can't find within the same level. But otherwise I think it's really great.

Return to Dreamland is kind of a bog standard Kirby game and I don't care for it that much. I like Super Star and Triple Deluxe way better, but if you really love those games you'll probably like it fine.

Just played through the Runbow event preview demo, very fun game. My only two complaints is that double tapping the attack button to do a horizontal dash is terrible, unintended dashes leads to suicides and it's basically impossible to use effectively in the air.
And a major pet peeve; touching the sides of spikes kills you
