Honestly, people say that Season 1 of Agents of SHIELD was absolutely terrible to watch week by week, but once you binge through it, like I did, it's actually very watchable. I imagine Season 3 of Arrow is similar. It's probably just the week long waits for nothing to happen that does it for most people, and that might help when bingeing through it. Don't know why I'm posting that here, though. I'm kinda hoping we go full Vibe early on in the season cause I'd love for Carlos to have much more to do this season.

AoS S1 was preeeeeeeeetty bad-to-meh (god that pilot was brutal) until like episode 6 then it started getting a little darker/better. Arrow S3 was just one slow, protracted, weepy fart from beginning to end.

There was no "HOLY poo poo WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT?!" because of course Ollie isn't gonna go evil, Thea isn't gonna stay dead, Starling City's not gonna be wiped out by the league, Ray's not gonna stick around, whatever else the gently caress happened. I think the only episode that surprised me was the Suicide Squad episode because at the time I didn't know DC was forcing them to stop using them. loving goons like to whinge about Felicity when complaining about season three but the League of Assassins were the real culprit. There's only two stories you can do with them, one is Batman Begins and one is Lazarus Pits. We got both.

I'd point out to Arrow watching wonderer guy that while season 3 was worse than season 2, it is no where near as bad as SA posters make it seem.

Yup, weigh in. I.e. your opinion carries weight. Also, season 3 of arrow was bad. It wouldn't have been QUITE so bad if they had not completely gone retarded on how to write a female character. They made the mistake of listening to the tumblr fans and they DESPERATELY wanted felicity and oliver to hook up, even though it made little to no sense in the show. Season 2 wasn't horrible but it wasn't all bad. Season 1 was pretty lovely for the first few episodes but it got better.

Arrow season 3 was very good, especially the last several episodes. It wasn't as good as season 2, but it was still better than season 1, which was also very good. Also, perhaps most importantly, it set us up for season 4, which - at least initially - looks like it will be excellent.

Yep, that's the one. "Threshold" won the 1996 Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup for a Series, beating out Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's "The Visitor."
