Generally if it's in square brackets it's something that they've added for clarity. If it was his mistake, you'd put in [sic] to indicate the error was in the original text.

I finally figured out what I dislike so much about paddy gower. It's that he doesn't care about actual politics, like he doesn't seem interested in covering party policy or anything. He's only in it for the scoop and drama, basically the bullshit that makes politics and politicians so contemptible. He loving loves the worst part of politics
