It seemed to me that Roddy was very grateful to be alive at all after the cancer scare. He certainly didn't waste any of his time on Earth, too short though it was.

Piper was just my favorite wrestler ever as a kid. I think it was that match in the Intercontinental tourney that did it, where Rick Martel (who I loving hated ever since he blinded Jake the Snake) got the atomizer and tried to shoot him, but Piper blocked it with a chair and smacked him. Dude was my hero.
