Kurihara wasting no time, already a leg up on Takeo despite his six month lead. To be fair though, climbing a 30 foot tall tree multiple times when you aren't a superhuman like Takeo deserves a kiss.

Finally caught up with the series (and this thread), probably the series I've enjoyed most of 2015 so far.Xelkelvos posted:God I hatred KareKano's ending. KareKano is probably by far my favorite shoujo series, but I tend to try and forget any of that last post-timeskip stuff exists.

I didn't notice her absence when I was watching it, but yeah Saijou would have been fun to have along there. It was basically just the guys from Takeo's school meeting the girls from Yamato's though, maybe they wanted to keep it that way. It makes sense that Saijou wouldn't want to go though, the wound of being rejected is still fresh and she'd be seeing Takeo and Yamato all lovey-dovey and the rest trying to awkwardly begin relationships with one another, or at least that's what she's probably expecting to see. I really hope we haven't seen the last of her though.

I thought she was OK, but didn't really get a sense of her character beyond being into Big Tak' (much like Yamato...). Maybe the manga gives her a little more detail. Still hoping that Yamato gets a little more depth as well.

She has yet to make another appearance unfortunately We are near the end of Vol. 5. Anime will probably finish up in Vol. 6 just because the chapters after that are one big arc.

Yeah, something about Saijou's voice actress and look just made me take a liking to her immediately. Maybe it was just that she was a change of pace from Yamato.

I'm bad at giffing, but I made one of probably my favorite moment in the entire episode, I think it's a bit big though so I'll link it. Also even though I tried not to gently caress it up and thought it was fixed when I turned off one of the settings in Gooncam it seems like for some reason saving the gif screwed up part of the black screen.
