worked out last night then immediately drank my smoothie made of spinach, nana, bloobs and strawbs with skim milk and 0 fat high protein yoghurt. 0 aches or pains today, is it super important to get your protein fix right after a workout for a good recovery?

protein is important for muscle recovery but so is proper blood flow and flexibility, its not the worst idea to try some yoga hey, if girls can get over swole hangups you can get over hippy stretching hangups

theres nothing wrong with booze and ice cream and soda so long as you can handle it in moderation, simple fact is that a lot of people are easily addicted, more than are willing to admit i still sometimes get a fourpack of Stewarts Key Lime soda because i really like that flavor (even tho it is completely packed full of sugar and calories ) im down to 172 from 238 since i quit my sugar habits, started MFP, and got on a gym routine, no six pack yet but i'm making progress, feels good man i'm thinking of looking into bulking/cutting once I hit 165-168

Yah like I said I just started running a few miles, then fast walking at an incline (my gym has ridiculous incline treadmills that go up to 30%) before each lifting session and I'm pretty shredded now. Lol if you don't do any cardio

I do 20-30 miles of cycling on Mondays but all its really doing for me is making my hips sore as hell for a day.

i have a heavy built powerful man frame and weighed 190-195 when i was in the best shape of my life, but to be really shredded i would need to dip down to 175-180 range. currently 200 and i'm not sure it's worth it not sure how a man can weigh 160 and be huge, my brother weighs 160 and he is skinny as gently caress with no muscle

Depends on peoples definition of huge This is George st pierre who fought in the welterweight division (170 pounds) Though now that I think about it those guys all cut weight so he probably weighed closer to 180-190 usually

I mean, they take such a wholesome , natural substance like milk, and through god knows what chemical/gene manipulation they come up with this powder that is just so concentrated it's dangerous.
