I also noticed that my teammates all seem to be about level 5 while the other dudes are 27-30 so that might deal with it a bit.

I just wanna say that the player "James" is a good player, and I hope he accepts my friend request so he can also be my friend. Anyway, went Team Marshmallow and won 7 matches against Hot Doggers, and won another two of three total against other mallowers. Can't wait to totally get stomped on my way to rank 5 later today!

I couldn't win a loving match tonight on Team Hot Dog. I am getting really pissed with this game... I have been playing like absolute poo poo since they did the update and ruined the Inkzooka. I used to use Carbon Roller with all my stats on quickly filling the special meter. It would give me the Inkzooka enough to actaully give my roller some range to splat people, yet the speed and coverage to lay down a bunch of ink. Now I feel like I can never get the special boosted up in time, so I have no defense one I reach midway up the map out the gate and encounter the other team. I don't know... I felt like I had a good strategy down with that weapon, and now I have to start over again with building up new gear and finding something new I like.

I don't think I've ever seen so many people not leave spawn as tonight. I've probably seen 10 plus people (usually team marshmallow) just pick the minigun and sit on their spawn pad and whatever they could shoot that was it

Moray Towers is probably my least favorite map because of how hosed it gets when there's a good charger player present, but wow, I just had a match where everyone was using short range weapons and it was actually really fun and interesting. It's a shame it can't always be like that.

It's a shame it can't always be like that. had one match with the enemy side just having one amazing player use a e-liter, and completely shut down the center choke point for the entirety of the match. The only times i got past i used a kraken, and both times it ran out before i even got close. There is just absoltuely no cover on this map and a good sniper is nearly impossible to stop.

I just got done wrecking some marshmallows on the towers, and after the match I realized my entire team had Aerospray RGs. While the range is short, it seems like their coverage is quick enough to clear decent paths out of the way of enemy fire as well as covering walls for climbing.

Welp, I've gotten in as much Splatting this Splatfest as I can. I had to leave for the airport after reaching Marshmallow Champion. Operation: Stay up all night and Splat because gently caress waking up at 3 in the morning was a success! At least half my matches were against fellow Marshmallow enthusiasts and I won maybe 2/3 of my matches? It kinda blended together after awhile... I broke tradition and used the Slosher instead of my trusty Krak-On Roller and did... about as well as I do with the Roller, really! That thing is very much my jam and I love it. I may have found my new main weapon!

Mixed day (especially when I'd finally get a Hot Dog opponent. Few of them but they seemed tougher). I must be rusty because the Dynamo feels a little different now somehow, like it "chains" differently. I want to try the slosher but I'm hoping they'll fix that leveling bug soon.
