He didn't exactly shy away once things to brutal and he had no way to leave under his own power. He is an ultra badass though so I loved it.

I hope one of the changes Super makes to Revival of F is that they wish King Cold back to life alongside Frieza. We never really got to see what he could do and it could be pretty rad to have an unknown quantity like that present in a big fight. Plus it would let them pad things out a bit and build up to Golden Frieza even more if King Cold is portrayed as having been stronger than Frieza but now surpassed by his son's new form. Take out the army of dudes, take out a strong lieutenant or two, then King Cold steps in to fight the gathered group and he's too much for them to handle until Goku and Vegeta arrive. Or something. Mostly though I just want to see that huge dude's other forms in action.

I'm pretty sure Toryiama once made it clear that King Cold is a lot weaker than Freeza and that Freeza is a prodigy.

Saw Resurrection F today. It was awesome. The preshow stuff took too long, but the actual movie was great. I loved Jaco, Whis and Beerus were great and the action was good.

When dealing with cell they frequently comment how it feels like Goku/Piccolo/Vegeta etc are fighting. The idea is that people have ki that feels a certain way and it makes sense that Freeza's dad might have ki that feels very similar (cold).

I fell like people sometimes forget that Dragon Ball is an anime series most famous for the fight where Vegetable, Chesnut, and Rice go all out versus the Milk Force, before a small woodwind instrument joins them to battle the evil emperor Freezer. Then Chesnut dies and Carrot goes Super Vegetable.
