Is anyone else having problems with unwanted pivoting? Over half of the time when I try to do a running grab I'll accidentally pivot and grab the other direction, which as you can guess is pretty disastrous with most characters. This happens with both the gamepad and the pro controller, and my only guess as to what's happening is that I'm flicking the stick and instead of it returning to neutral it overshoots and registers that I'm briefly turning the other direction. It's completely ruining my enjoyment of the game and it started happening as I got better at the game (doing actions faster, more flicking rather than slow deliberate movements)  Any tips on how to fix/reduce the problem?

Holy crap Rosalina edge huggers are annoying. This guy on for glory would camp the ledge every game and send out Luma while spamming jabs and other poo poo as I approached. It was infuriating until I switched to Zelda and taught him about whos the meanest princess around. Pardon my very average play but this felt really good. I need to play more Zelda. Also if you're Zelda and someone's camping just up-b sideways into them over and over, you do a ton of knockback coming out of your teleport.

I might get wrecked since you guys sound good but it should help me improve. You can see a sample of some matches I did on my youtube. My biggest issue is getting used to the wiiu pro controller and getting my smash attacks to reliably happen since I seem to just tilt sometimes instead. I guess im not jackin the stick enough.

Hold right and press grab (the ZR/ZL button on the gamepad/pro, assuming you didn't remap them). If you want a standing grab out of a run, hold shield for a split second, then press attack. The shield will cancel your dash and shield+attack is grab. I've never heard of "unwanted pivoting." It sounds like you're over-complicating your inputs.

Roy is just goddamn ridiculous! I KO'd a guy in For Glory off the right side of the screen while standing on the left side of the platform using an uncharged side-smash at around 60-70%.

If you're struggling with Roy, I suggest baiting out the cannonball and punishing. Watch out for the hammer after he leaves the Klown Kar, it has extra knockback!
