I think the venue Durty Nellie's is probably part of the reason. That venue is also the Chicago stop for Mayhem/Watain tour. Discordance Axis, hayaino daisuki, gridlink (aka the Jon Chang bands, DA in particular also including Dave Witte), Nasum, Rotten Sound, older Cephalic Carnage, Insect Warfare, Wormrot, Cattle Decapition Spotify also wants me to include Today is the Day but I'm not sure that fits despite loving that band.
