The best option would be to delete it and have everything slide over, but it doesn't work that way. I also can't transition it into a diner to make it link up. I'd have to delete everything to the right of it for a fraction of what I paid to construct it, then delete the living quarters, then rebuild everything. That's kinda bullshit.

I deleted one of the room after the tutorial to make all rooms left and right of the starting elevator 3 tiles wide. Vault runs fine and I don't even need mr handys. You can't improvise yourself vault supervisor.

Maybe its my imagination but I had the 'rush rooms successfully' and 'put out fires' challenges at the same time and even when my % of failure was like 70%+ I kept getting successful rushes as if the game was trying to keep me from doing the fire challenge easily. It was great.

So theres a new Dragon Quest Monsters game out and its pretty great so far. If anything it reminds me of Brave Frontier / Summoners War, but with the DQM monsters and battle system. I've been experimenting with some early vault layouts in Shelter after destroying+rebuilding, and am trying to get some screenshots. Does anyone know where they get saved to? I did find out though, that if you hit the screenshot button, it totally freezes the game until you come back and close the "screenshot" pop-up. Kind of handy if you don't wanna force kill anything. Anyone figure out how mergin rooms works? I keep seeing people talk about merging disparate room types, but I'm having trouble doing that any time except accidentally. I heard that they can't be different levels, but I'd still like to, say, have a 2 power 1 water room to begin (hydro plant duh!) or something.. bahaha holy poo poo, restarted while trying to make my base rebuild less wasteful, got a minigun in my first lunchbox, as well as a guy with huuuge luck and bowling shirt and elf ears costume... Then the seocnd lunch box gave me Vengeance - laser gatling gun.. Two level 3 guys in the first power station immediately next to the front door kill the entire raider wave in their first animation!

Ok apparently from reading a wiki the "bug" where I got a lot of caps rushing rooms was probably because there was a guy with high luck in it. So if you have a guy with high luck, move it where you want to rush.

If you plan on spending money on a mr Handy I'd definitely recommend scumming until you figure out a good layout as well as getting one or two good survivors/weapons/armor very early on. It doesn't take more than a couple minutes to restart to the same point but there's a weird difficulty jump between the storage/medbay/science rooms and actually being viable in the first couple hours of play without waiting for 6 hours until your new babies are grown up... Two survivors from lunch boxes is basically a full tech tier.

Fallout Shelter: Do not-recruited Dwellers eventually go away? Is it better to ignore them if they don't have at least one higher-than-2 skill? I'm finding that I pull in everyone, I quickly get to the point where I'm in the red with food/water consistently.

So I want to play Fallout Shelter but my phone is a relatively ancient Samsung thing that doesn't have the required minimum version of Android. (Needs 4.1, mine is I think 2.3.) Someone in in the Fallout 4 thread mentioned a thing called Bluestacks which appears to be an emulator of sorts but I tried it and the very first thing it did was bluescreen my computer and the second thing it did was put shortcuts on the desktop and in the start menu that point nowhere at all so nope, gently caress that. Is there any way I can, legally, play this game that doesn't involve me either buying a new phone or tablet or borrowing the same from someone?

I've been playing on Andy and haven't had any problems running it. In fact FS seems to be tailored more toward being played on PC than tablets.
