TontoCorazon posted:Wait hold up. What? It's not like it was some sort of signed, laminated card from the President that said "This Dude can Bang Teens", but it was still pretty bad and cringe-worthy. Mark Wahlberg's daughter's boyfriend is in his 20's, and she is only supposed to be 16 or 17, so her BF carries around a printed out copy of the state's age of consent laws. There was literally no reason for it to be in the movie. Just make her 18. Then it can still be, "I'm your stereotypical over-protective dad! I can't let you date anyone! Especially not the cliched older, motorcycle riding, tough-guy with a heart of gold who'll prove himself to me 90 minutes into the movie!" without being SUPER creepy. Only mildly creepy.

Long as we're ing over that MLP gif, it's really not so much a "transformation" as it is a "particle effect transitioning between two wildly different objects" even before you consider the quality of the CGI.

a 17 year old dating a 20 year old isn't really that creepy imo But then I live in a country where 15 is legal so what do I know lol

That's a pretty creepy argument - that implies they were dating at 14 and 17, which is actually a mildly creepier gap than 17 and 20.

Like, he planned on dating young like that specifically because it was easier or something. Then Marky Mark's character is all good with it later. Literally every human character in the film should have died the same horrible death that one nameless mook died that was friends with Marky Mark that nobody cared about before or after he died--just a brief look of shock when they see it happen.

Yo, that's TJ Miller. He's a funny guy. You can also see him in Silicon Valley and the Deadpool trailer. He played the important role of pointing out that his contract with Marky Mark's garage workshop is equivalent to slavery, and later in the movie we have a battle between Stanley Tucci's zombie slave robot army (led by a literal soulless robot who liberated them) wearing corporate branding and the Autobots (who transforms into licensed) riding their 'primitive' slave dinosaur robots.
