If you buy in multi-thousand-dollar bulk, you can sometimes get 5% off wholesale gift cards direct from companies, maybe as high as 10~15ish if it's something like a struggling food company, but lol if you think you'd ever get close to the 25% range for a consumer electronic company without it being a severely limited coupon

for the okies who just got here: stymie was a poster who was both uselessly and smugly contrarian and who derailed every conversation to be about him, ending up on the ignore lists of people who otherwise did not use them. therefore "do not quote stymie", because that means you're both engaging with him and making him visible to people who ignored him for a reason he was also known as "anime dogtits" due to a uniquely terrible avatar. he may still be around, i don't know, i don't currently read any threads where he posts and i'm not going to go looking over time other posters have been called "adjective stymie" as a way to warn people not to engage, and also to annoy them this is distinct from fishmeching (autistic pedantry informed by wikipedia) or shaggaring (gimmickposting an unpopular but consistent set of mostly bad opinions)

jetz0r posted:sara jeong wrote a piece about bitcoin happenings Correction: An earlier version of this story said Satoshi Nakamoto "returned like an ancient god waking from his magic slumber," before going on to note that this Satoshi Nakamoto is almost certainly an impersonator. We had assumed that when talking about an anonymous persona reappearing as a godlike energy it would be clear that we were not talking about the corporeal being or beings who initially created the Satoshi character, but as that may have been confusing, we've added the word "apparently" to this sentence in order to clarify. Motherboard regrets the error.
