Ven, Toast, Jetpack, Wintermute, all bone? Sounds good enough for me. That said, I have a lot of work to do tomorrow but if I clear enough time in my schedule I might try to snag one of these beta codes for PS4 just to get back in the swing of things. I've barely been playing my consoles at all, not since Bloodborne and not a lot before that.

So I played the beta a bit and gunfeel is generally on point and very well done. Love the aesthetic too. My problem is with the movement scheme as it applies to most peoples controllers. If you want to do what they do in the videos, you cant really be switching your thumb from the face buttons and the stick. This is worse than cod aw because in cod aw you used left stick to boost, plus you cant slideshot and shoot with twisting your finger or having a scuf setup. I hope they add more control schemes. Putting jump and slide on the shoulder buttons should be an option.

I can't believe that after two games with 'advanced mobility' as the major new franchise feature, their one concession to the control scheme requirements is adding bumper jumper (lol@AW not even having that). They really, really should have looked into an alternate control scheme with L1/R1 as crouch/jump and a mod button or toggle button to throw grenades. At least you can get there on the PS4 by using bumper jumper and swapping R1/O I guess  You get O+X as your super then though, which blows for abilities like Glitch's rewind that need super fast activation. R1+X isn't much better.Or buy an Elite/Scuf, heh. Other than that, can't say a few hours of play left me jacked on adrenaline and craving more. Didn't like AW, I like this more, but I think the current direction of CoD isn't for me. Feels like they saw Titanfall and copied the mobility without understanding why it was in that game to begin with. Then said hey let's add some Destiny supers too. Anyway, otherwise it's CoD, it has guns, you shoot dudes. If you like those things, go hog wild

Yep. It's a call of duty alright. Felt like I was playing a call of duty and boy did it take me back....  ...to getting killed way around corners and the same old blah netcode of all that hates comcast. No way in hot, smoking hell I'd buy this but hey it's cod blops

I've skipped the last 3 or 4 CODs and I come back to see the net code is still just as loving slanted and atrocious as it has always been since MW1. Hahah gently caress this reskinned garbage game.

I love your Australian accent. I preordered from Amazon and almost immediately got a code to pop in on the Blops3 site. Once you do that, just wait until next week and they'll email you the MS code to pop in and start the download. Might check your spam folder or something unless you preordered from MS store in which case you don't have to register online, they just let you start downloading as soon as it's available, I believe.

Thoughts on the beta: Things I like -Kuda is straight up the blops 1 MP5K -Movement is really fluid and intuitive -Wall running is good -Maps seem pretty well designed -Specialist abilities are fun -Different notifications for whether a grenade or semtex is near you -Score streaks are all fun to use. -The first LMG feels just like the M60. Only difference being it's weaker than the og chugga chugga cannon. Like it has everything the M60 had. Just weaker. Still though CHUGGA CHUGGA Things I wasn't liking -Spawns are kinda bad. Not Advanced Warfare/Ghosts bad but they're not the best. Slight tweak and they'd be good. -Personal problem but I'm not a fan of how dark the player models are. It's sorta easy to blend into the environment. -Pump shotty is very disappointing. Disappearing pellet syndrome, inconsistent kill range, and between shots takes forever. It's a huge downgrade from the remington in blops 2. -Snipers feel sorta off. So far I'm having a lot of fun with the beta.

Its kinda bad in this game because 2 of the 3 maps have very few routes to go around people, so you tend to spawn close to where you died.
