So once all this SECRET WARS stuff is over, can Noelle Stevenson start writing Runaways for real? Not necessarily with these characters, but maybe some hybrid of the older team with a couple new people? I just think her writing style is the closest I've come to enjoying Teen Characters since the original BKV days. :fake edit: also the art on this book is solid gold :real edit: just realized the robot they fight in Weirdworld is the Leapfrog from the original series. I like it, but i'm biased. I did enjoy that Scott calls Colossus on all his poo poo and the fact he's literally let hundreds of mutants and people die because of his obsession with rescuing Illyana.

Inferno features Colossus and Mike Norton on art. So at the very least it has that going for it. Those are the two things that almost tempted me into getting it. But in the end it was a casualty to better sounding books. Or was Mike Norton on one of the other X books I didn't pick up? Either way Inferno had good art whether it was by Norton or not.

Lumberjanes is a book with a really nice feel to it that I thought might be lost in a mainstream story but Runaways is equally really pleasant to read.

So, how many couples can you identify in this panel? http://i.imgur.com/qZl697Q.jpg Besides the ones I mentioned earlier, I noticed Storm/Logan Psylock/Angel Cap/Rescue Beast/Brand I can't identify who Kurt is with, or who the couple directly behind Carol are. It also looks like the Monarch is there.
