Does the wiki have a way of flagging pages/fits that are out of date? Like, I know that poo poo is pretty common on wikis generally, but maybe if someone made an easy PRESS THIS BUTTON IF poo poo ON THIS PAGE IS OUT OF DATE alert at the top, it would help to better identify pages that at least could use some cleanup.

One of the big changes we've been making to the wiki is back end work to metatag fits and modules and link them via api so that stuff is automatically updated and or flagged if it breaks. Unfortunately work like that isn't obvious or sexy so every few months we get a spike of concern about the state of the wiki that never seems to translate into much of an increase in the number of good mediawiki savy editors plugging away. Luckily a lot of this stuff is about to start paying dividends and we have some more high visibility changes to the way pages are organized and accessed that will be rolled out "soon". In short, the wiki is worlds better than it was in terms of usability and maintenance, but all that heavy lifting had to be done before we could focus on content.

When confluence was a thing the wiki was pretty much left to rot, and missed out on years of innovations like these. After confluence got headshot and focus shifted back to the wiki a core group of editors have been slowly dragging it kicking and screaming into the modern era. Reagalan is responsible in large part for getting the ball rolling, but the current head of the project Kyalla Ahashion is an unsung goon hero who does not get enough credit.

I update wiki pages here and there. Mostly fixing out of date ship and module stats. I have added a few current fits as well. When I was a newbee I spent countless hours just browsing the wiki. There were many interesting pages about historical events, alliance histories, eve politics and other things. It really is a shame the wiki has deteriorated to the point it has. I even found a few pages that referred to the current alliance name as SOLODRAKBANSOLODRAKBANSO. I try to fix things like that when I see them. I will continue to help out when I can. I am a sucker for educational material, even if it is about a stupid space video game.
