i'm on Debian unstable, and, true to the name, am having trouble with the apt package manager. i can't currently install blender, because

libstdc++6 : Breaks: libboost-date-time1.55.0 but 1.55.0+dfsg-4 is to be installed.

I spelled 'network' wrong.
I have two WinServer 2008 R2 AD DC's and in the coming months we're going to migrate our user accounts into another domain. I have priviledged accounts on that other domain, I can bind computers to it and should be able to move them around the OUs. Trouble is, I want to add my account on the new domain to my existing DC so I can RDP into the DC, then connect to the other forest to move the computer in the OUs. I can't add the other forest account to my RDP user's group because it's a DC and there is no local Users and groups in CompMgmt. I can't add the other account to my current domain admins SG, it won't let me add accounts outside its own domain. There is trust between the domains.

I can't do RunAs on Users and Computers with the new domain, I get a 'user has not been granted the requested logon type on this computer'. So, how do I either add another domain's accounts as RDP-granted to my DC so I can log into it, then run Users & Computers as the other account, to move the computers around the OU of the new domain? I am confident that I have explained this poorly.

i think you can use the groups under the builtin ou in ad. if you haven't done much customization you can probably just throw the user from the new domain into the domain admins group on the old domain and stuff will work.

Wanted to add that some media people here got really upset when Tweetdeck updated their app and it changed looks and functionality. I found an old version at oldversion and they went back to being happy again. I have the old msi if you want it.

I had this hope too, but the Locations selection when I add the user into the Domain Admins group only shows the old domain, and adding in newdomain\user fails, "...is not a domain listed in the Select Loction dialog box".

The workaround is to log into a DC from the new domain as my account over there, but I wanted to do it all from one of my DCs.

your best bet is to call a dealership. . . all that antitheft bullshit they started doing like that in the late 90s early 2000s just literally ends up loving the consumer (especially if you didn't know it was there, and had to change your battery)

other option, you can get a solid jvc or pioneer deck, installed for less than $150 these days that'll do about all you'd ever need it to do.

i fixed it actually, thanks online code calculators
the car is old enough that the algorithm that generates the code from the radio serial number was broken

ill still probably get a new radio though, since this one doesn't have an aux in

what is monny in this context

and also go into disk management through device manager to re-partition and re-format your old hard drive (you're probably only seeing the 99mb system reserved partition or something) (obviously everything will be erased when you do this)

does anyone know how to effectively block ads on hulu

there's no way i'd actually pay for something that serves me ads (i just keep signing up for free trials), but i blocked a few of them anyway and it says "sorry, we're unable to load a message from our sponsors" or some poo poo and then vindictively makes that message show up for like 4 minutes instead of the ~90 sec the ads usually are

i'm using glimmerblocker so it's pretty easy to do some advanced blocking but even after analyzing the streaming traffic with wireshark i can't really figure out how to block all of them, just some. i just want to watch some horribly cropped seinfeld without paying for it :sigh:

here is how you watch hulu shows without ads: :filez:

hulu is owned by television networks so you should expect them to put all of their effort into getting ads to show up, even for paying customers

hulu isn't dumb as gently caress so they know how to handle ad blockers. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd go so far as to sign the videos so you couldn't even inject false ads via a proxy.

theres a good thread in SHSC but basically samsung 840 evo 256 / 512 is teh best choice, if you want to throw more money at it samsung 850 pro one of the best drives you can get and has a 10 year warranty. Intels are also generally good but even more expensive

monny means monitor, when i switch them ports it detects the other monitor, so either the port is somehow messed up or it's a driver issue because it worked perfectly fine before i reinstalled windows on my new not fried ssd

hmm, idk enough about windows but you could try going into disk management and assigning a drive letter to the larger partition on that drive? maybe? right click on it, assign drive letter

and are you getting your drivers from windows update or from the manufacturer? whichever one you did try the other one

Which version of Windows are you using? The monitor should be detected automatically even with the basic Microsoft drivers. Have you tried a different cable? Try using acronis disk director or a gparted boot disk and see if it shows up there.

Is the hard drive detected in your bios? Try assigning a driver letter like wheezy suggested. When you were installing windows did it display the correct size at the HDD selection screen?
