Sucks that Tom got cut out of Ant-Man, would have lost my mind if I'd seen that in the cinema.

Yeah I was hooked from the first time I listened to HH after Tom had them on and then went on their show. I've listened to about a dozen of their episodes so far and I'm just making my way through the backlog when I'm out of 'new' stuff from this week. It's hilarious. The Nick Kroll episode and the Ben Schwartz one both destroyed me.

Since the show left WFMU I was pretty bummed out about never getting to listen to the music parts anymore. Today I looked around on Spotify and found a playlist for 2014/2015.

And also here's about 2000 songs Tom played during the WFMU years!

Fantastic episode this week - Huebel and Scheer were great, and the laser whip is back and better than ever. I was also quite pleased to see, when I checked after listening, that Adrian Monk's confirmed death had already been added to his Wikipedia page.

Dumm Oaf called a few weeks ago - I think to talk about wrestling at The Gathering of the Juggalos?

I'm a big fan of Tom's suggestion for his new wrestling character: a Springsteen fan who has been frozen since the 80's and just woke up.

That slayed me, Tom compared to LinkedIn to Ashley Madison, as in that it makes it seem that "This is where the action is going down" but in reality it's a bunch of complete losers.

That half hour was so good.

This show is really hit or miss with me, some of the call in bits are god awful. That guy who says just whacky poo poo and pretends its normal is the worst for me, " oh yeah, that's my monster..." So weird. I heard him on a best show best calling in as tom's brother, with an equally bad schtick.

You miss out on like 95% of the humor in the Wurster calls until you've been listening for a while and can pick out all the callbacks and meta-jokes.

One prime example that comes to mind recently, was the ever increasing the character can't think of the name of an abba tune whose lyrics become more and more misogynistic with each call week after week. I don't think it would be as funny if you are jumping in randomly.
