Here's my cat, Chomp ! In his favorite spot.  Being held by my Dad.  Wearing a bandanna I got from some corporate training thing. He actually loves it and gets mad when I try and take it off. He's a big kitty.

My best bud Jake: Jake is a fun, sweet, and obedient boy, but man was he ever a nippy little fuckhead when he was a puppy. It was like he had a blood vendetta against achilles tendons. Thankfully he grew out of it into the fine little gentleman you see here.

It's common for cats and has a simple explanation: the ceramic tends to be much cooler in temperature than other surfaces, so especially if it's otherwise hot curling up in a sink is a common way for cats to cool off.

After not having been there in a while, I just went back to MEOW Cat Rescue to fix a computer, and had the chance to meet a couple of new guests. Here are Napa and Leya.  I was trying to take pictures surreptitiously, but as you can see, that didn't last long.  It was then that I became the victim of an attempted mugging. I was able to escape with both my phone and my life, but it was a truly harrowing experience. The police have been contacted.  See before you the face of true evil

It's been pretty devastating, having consumed some 260,000 acres of land so far. Because of this, the Animal Foster Care Cat Shelter in Okanogan had been forced to relocate 80 or so cats into a tiny construction trailer outside the area, hoping their shelter would survive the fires. They were in desperate need of supplies, so they reached out for help. MEOW asked their volunteers, fans, and friends to donate what they could. Thanks to those donations, they were able to provide all this, and then some:  Three full van loads of litter, food, crates, litter boxes, and other supplies went off to the AFCCS a couple days ago.
