It was a brisket prepared correcrly that he was pretending was a burnt steak. It's the second time he's done it because people constantly believe that it's a steak. Him pretending it's a steak is a joke.

Ugh look at this I can't believe someone would eat eggs with pancakes this is just unheard of in the land of my birth. We only eat hamburger soup and Traditional Wedding Cake (fruit roll-ups pressed into a loaf pan).

I agree. Although you can usually tell the ironic stuff by the fact that there's always shots of it existing, but no shots of it with any bites taken out of it. That's what always cracks me up about the terrible food photos on Facebook. Somebody made a thing, began to eat it, and then decided to just take a picture of their plate mid-meal without bothering to make it look appetizing in any way. There's a weird kind of food solipsism where people don't understand how terrible their food looks to literally everybody else on the planet. They like it, and by golly that must mean it's good!
