i added a vegetation model which grows, spread and holds soil together better and a wind/rain/evaporation model to my little dynamic world thing here's it all working together on it's own with the speed ramped up: my cloud visualisation is loving garbage so I'm not showing it in the gif

echi could you do some physics simulation then export the animation and render that in your super cool realistic light thing, itd be cool to see something with realistic physics and lighting

fluid sim. its gots more frames to go but i wanted to see how it was coming out i purposely did the resolution low, and used the preview mesh so its blocky

i changed soil slip so it destroys vegetation which can cause a chain reaction landslide effect on steep slops dissertation goes off to be printed on saturday so i'll probably take a short break before moving it all over to c++ fluid sim stuff always looks cool as hell pls dont post visual metaphors of my posts crap nerd fucked around with this message at 11:39 on Aug 27, 2015 |

echinopsis posted:the picture? heh how'd you get city on his face i thought there would be some really simple and elegant solution where you blend certain channels of colours together or whatever, but actually you just delete the background on the head image layer, make a mask, and apply that mask to whatever image you want on top the keys to making it look good seem to be using really clean source images with nice even backgrounds so they can be cut out easier, and tweaking your levels/contrast etc to make various details more evident I want to try something like this next; but i need to assemble more source material

This is the only double exposure I've ever done And that was on a 5Diii which I guess doesn't count either I get the whole "analogue only" thing but for me it's the difference between making things daily or getting a roll of film developed once a year maxe fucked around with this message at 04:16 on Aug 28, 2015 |

lmao can't you use screen or something for same effect? I find it hard to believe lighten or screen as a mixing mode wouldn't do the trick
|
# ? Aug 28, 2015 05:20 |
|
i think the effect isnt so much that one image is overlaid on the other, its the way the background is neutral you can screen/overlay/burn the two images together however you want, but without a clean background you dont have a silhouette.

per pixel effects? neat! I really need to learn how to use that program I wonder if it can easily turn individual inages into a jif? what I really want to be able to do is uploaded my vids to gfycat without making them an 8 bit gif first
