Gridlocked posted:The beans are what get me. Butchered and turned into a green paste. Are those mashed potatoes with the skin on? That's basically exotic cuisine compared to most of the garbage posted. Plus that looks like kale, and the coating on the chicken looks pretty decent. No matter how ugly it looks, if they cooked something that didn't come out of a freezer or a can then it's top tier by the #wife hashtags. As an example, a look into the mind of a 33 year old goon who is planning to have a child with her 42 year old husband Blue Story posted:Yeah, it just always seems like so much . . . effort. When I lived alone sometimes I'd think I'd like to eat something but preparing food just seemed like it wasn't worth the effort, so I would continue doing whatever it was I was doing at the time. I mean seriously, I find putting a tv dinner in the microwave kind of annoying. If even that is too much effort then boiling water seems almost prohibitive. Unfortunately my husband is perfectly happy to go out and bring me back whatever I want, so I've been getting worse about it. Not great, but he he really doesn't mind and it isn't his job to be my parent and police my habits, so I just get lazier and lazier. If you are thinking that I must have put on weight due to this situation you are correct. Never underestimate the sheer level of laziness and sloth people will aspire to when they can, and then they see extremely minor baby steps as "holy gently caress I am an amazing cook I'll do this once a week and make my bae feel like a king! (dumps a can of beef stroganoff on a plate, add canned green beans, places white bread on the side) I'm like a 50s housewife!" pentyne has a new favorite as of 06:30 on Aug 27, 2015 |

Code Jockey posted:I sometimes put baby carrots in the curry I make instead of just cutting up carrots like I know I should, how shameful am I Most baby carrots sold in America are just shaved down carrots not fit for sale as normal carrots. There are actual baby carrots that are just dwarf carrots. Either way you're probably fine, I mean you're putting thought into the meal at all which puts you head and shoulders above most of the trash food we post in here.

Pizza should bave bearnaise sauce on it, unless it's a kebab pizza, in which case it needs garlic sauce and a spicy tomato sauce.
