I don't think I've ever seen a Samsung user not choose that font which tells me everything I need to know about people who choose Samsungs.

My wife got a Note 5 the other day and the default is not comic sans or whatever. She hasn't changed it ... yet

And no, she hasn't tried to jam the stylus in backward... yet.

My team's app overrides the fonts back to Roboto, so as to avoid Samsung's "Smooth Jazz" font or whatever they call it. We don't put up with that crap.

I'm fairly certain the instant that TV (or it's model year equivalent) drops below $3k, it will be purchased with the fastest delivery option to my house. Such a jaw dropping set.

Did I properly describe the problem? These pictures only show up when I go to attach and image, and it doesn't to matter what application I'm using to do it. Hangouts, the default text messaging app, they both show the same thing. Before I discovered the web interface to manage photos through Picasa Web Web Albums, there were a lot more. I cleaned everything out of the Picasa web front end, and now there are just a handful of older images that I can't seem to locate anywhere.

How would I do that if I have never had Picasa installed on my phone as an app?

There's nothing inherently wrong with it. The problem is, people started using it for formal communication and that's just all kinds of messed up.

Yeah that's old news and Google managed to pick the worst of the various options of dealing with SD cards for consumers (though, conversely, the best for developers). I suppose this shouldn't be shocking.

I disagree. By making SD cards part of the internal storage, users don't have to juggle where files are downloaded or stored or where apps are installed. It makes its transparent to the user, which is the whole reason they wanted to do away with SD cards in the first place. It gives all the benefits of easier management while also allowing for user expanded storage.

Users that actually swap SD cards around for different media are the smallest use case scenario.

Except now you have to educate users that they CANNOT remove their SD card because things will probably break, and instead of fast, reliable NAND built into the device, they get to pay for the device AND cheap, failure-prone SD cards.

Easier than educating users how to manage files on their SD cards instead of internal storage, how to move apps to the SD card (if the app even supports it), and why their phone says it is out of space when they just put a 128GB card in their phone.

Your average user is a lot stupider than you think they are when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Well if the manufacturers would stop marking up NAND by like 50000% and maybe offering the actual amount of storage advertised instead of having slightly more than half of it "usable", maybe this wouldn't be a loving issue, but the truth is people actually want to store poo poo on their phones.

I guess I don't mind paying $50 or so to get vastly more utility out of something I will use for 2 years?

I mean, they gotta do *something* to make money since only Samsung has managed to figure that out on Android.

Samsung Pay Report - The app runs really smoothly and is easy to pull out my phone and just scan my finger. I haven't had any issues so far and the clerks reactions are always pretty funny. My favorite has been a 70 year old man very adamantly refusing to believe that it worked.

To set it up was just enter the information and then call the bank to have them activate the token for the card, took five minutes max.

That's all I've been using. That's why the people assume it won't work, they don't have NFC readers. I just used it on one of those readers built into the register with the thick plastic on the side. Holding it against the side with my case on and it worked fine.

Hardest part is having the clerk realize she needed to treat it like a credit card and hit her Visa button
