Had a 15-1 game on Port Mackerel. I felt bad cause they were all newer players, I guess being on Team Decepticon makes you evil? Was also on my very first spawn camping team in Flounder Heights. I didn't think it was possible, it should be easy to get around people.

I was on a bad losing streak this morning at first, then I switched from the Slosher back to the Krak-On roller and started kicking rear end again. The maps are pretty roller friendly this time around. I've had especially good luck in Saltspray, putting Beakons everywhere. Sometimes my teammates even use them!  I'm a third of the way to Decepticon Queen.

I got put with a good team that would booyah eventually at the start of every match. We didn't lose a single time and then the dreaded error message struck. Got into another good team only for the same thing to happen. And it keeps happening. I'm at 45/50 without a single loss but my motivation to keep going is drained because I probably won't find a team as fun as that.

Faught this one guy with a krakon splat roller who predicted every single thing that I did. Most games were a wash with opponents who dont run from grenades and stuff but then you fight really good players all of a sudden and it's jarring. I think I'm going on tilt, I find myself doing stupid poo poo so much now. Time for a day or two break from the game. =/

Of course it's not that good for painting floors, so if the rest of your team is worthless poo poo then it's all for naught. A Blaster player should not be first or second on a team that has rollers or really anything that is not a charger.

Having picked the Dual Squelcher back up last night, I forgot how spotty the coverage is. I seem to be pretty good with guns everyone else considers trash. I like whichever Rapid Blaster has Suction Rush, it's a decent fit for Tower Control/corner and ledge kills. That said, after improving with Blasters, I gravitated towards the ones with 1hko potential, because I can put that potential to better use. Blasters also made me a bit more reckless/aggressive when playing with them, so the short range of the Luna pairs well. Don't like the subs though.

I'm struggling to find a weapon I like for turf war for all three of these maps. I've kinda settled on the Dual Squelcher but the 4+ hits to kill is kinda rough.

I sometimes find if im playing stupid with a roller, changing weapons with different playstyles will get me back into playing well. I was getting wasted with anything at range with the rollar today , couldnt aim worth poo poo with a 3-liter scope, but apparently i managed to win my way through the rest with a plain tentatek splattershot.

Fortunately this afternoon, outside of one match where I was literally killed by a carbon roller through a wall, and another where this guy with a roller would kill anyone who touched him even if his back was turned, the netcode gods have been pretty kind to me and have allowed me to be the killing machine I was meant to be.

This was probably the smoothest time I've had ranking up during a Splatfest yet. Only a handful of losses total and the first team I joined took me straight to champion, but then I had to pee really bad and so we parted ways. I think the Tentakek Splattershot just might be my main, I like the balance of range/RoF/damage/spread because my aim is borderline garbage, and while I'm not overly fond of the special because it's not very versatile, goddamn Inkzooka wrecks Port Mackeral and is p nice on Saltspray Rig. I usually get into trouble with it when I get too aggressive and find myself surrounded by enemy ink with no way to get out, but narrow corridors and short walls to shoot over? Yes, please! Also how am I supposed to use Suction Bombs? I keep trying to use them like Splat Bombs but the delay is way too long and I usually only ever splat anyone when they unknowingly walk into one. They don't seem to ink much territory if they stick to a wall either. Also gently caress robots, go team Purple.

Yeah, I just got Decepticon King after a couple of good sessions. My hot streak is at +30.0. Suck it Autobots. I may have lost 2 matches today out of the 30-35 or whatever the number is. The teammate matching seems to group people according to level, so if you're at a lower level you're going to have worse teammates. I kept getting paired with people that were B+ or better in ranked when I examined them in the lobby. I ran with another S-Ranked player for a bit and we just destroyed all challengers.

Certain times you just get a team, load into the map, intros play AND WERE OFF The rush to the center starts, you ink territory and rush to the center, you spot an enemy player and go to cut his ink route off but wait; there's a guy coming to your left, you quickly cut off the trail and retreat a bit back to counter the guy coming on the left when a third guy comes up behind you with a roller and insta kills you. At about this point you wonder what your team is doing so you look down on your pad and theyre... very slowly. Feels like every 3 or so matches ONE side does this. Also Nintendo, can we please get an on screen mini map to go with the mini map on our pad? Please?
