That intro was certainly something.  So this is the third time Max loses his Interceptor.  I hope we can get it back in the end despite building the Magnum Opus, or get to build an exact replica. I really want to drive around the desert in that black beauty.

I saw some random IGN video saying that the map is limitless and you can just keep driving forever like it's Trackmania or something, but that's gotta be bullshit, right?

If you leave the edge of the play field it'll randomly generate storms and terrain as you drive out. Near as I can tell it's going to be entirely a fatal choice to do so, but there might be some achievement or something for "Survive off map for X minutes". As for how random the random generation is, who knows.

Looks like my first time using GMG didn't gently caress me and the preload size doesn't even look that big. I keep forgeting that Avalanche isn't a part of SE and will not put 30 gigs of compressed cutscenes in this game.

My(British) unlock time shows 2 days and 3 hours from now, Australia shows the same. New Zealand and Singapore show 2 days and 5 hours from now, so they're even worse off. If someone finds anything to the contrary please update the thread, I'd love to play it early as it's a British holiday on Monday but I can't find anything that suggest PC will get a break.
