This only works if microsoft is the only company you're using a service from. If you're going to freak out over this stuff you might as well stop using consumer electronics in general. Motherfucking Windows and its sleep issues. Up until the last couple of days or so, my desktop would hibernate just fine when I hit the power button. Now, however, I've twice watched it wake right back up after it finishes the hibernation process. How can I track down the cause of this? powercfg -lastwake doesn't provide any useful information.

Go to Event Viewer -> Windows -> System and look for Power-troubleshooter entries. You can create a custom view if your event log is too spammy. An older version of Teamviewer was causing problems like that so if you're using that, make sure its updated. Otherwise have fun hunting down "Allow this device to wake the computer" tabs in all 40 USB and network card drivers

I actually like the new start menu and am only running StartIsBack because win+start typing program name fails about 50% of the time and just ignores your keystrokes. Once that's fixed I'll go back to the new menu. Yeah I have like 4 UI hacks running, but so far they're all stable. (7tt, tclock, startisback & glass8) Also, thank gently caress the new command prompt finally has cut+paste that works in a sensible manner.
