I thought Felicity was the only constant good thing about season 3.
While I agree that season 3 was quite a letdown, I wonder how much of that was due to season 2 being quite awesome. For me season 3 was just meandering too much without getting anywhere. It also lacked a proper villain throughout the season (while season 2 had Deathstroke pretty much from beginning to end). There was really much wrong with Ghul but he was introduced too late to really matter.

Season 3 had the worst, flashback arc yet. 90% of the time it was basically there to fill time and added nothing to the story. The 10% of it that actually did matter could have been done in other ways, or ignored entirely.

It has to just better than Walking Dead. I don't expect Mad Men or Breaking Bad level quality, but I admit to enjoying walking dead, but at this point its to see what dumb thing they're going to do next.
