Results: 1. Jaka def. Ashley Remington. This was one of those Round Robin team matches. Jaka and Ashley did comedic spots at the start with finger guns and Jaka repeating the finger guns to get cheered. Jaka bit the guns. Bakabella hit Remington in the leg with the loaded envelope of money. 2. Quarter Finals Match: Team Fight Club: PRO def. United Nations. Fight Club dudes are still over like crazy. Trent Seven and Tyler Bate specially. Juan Franciso wanted to cut a promo before the match but we booed him out of the building. All three men did tag out stalling suplex spot to Juan that lasted a 60 seconds. X-Pakistan got kicked out of the ring side area. An airplane spin handed off to a TKO got Fight Club Pro the win. 3. Rey De Voladores Match: Shynron def. 2 Cold Scorpio, Amasis, and Matt Cross. Matt Cross eliminated first by Amasis and 2 Cold double team I believe. Followed up with 2 Cold turning on Amasis after Amasis dived on Shynron, 2 Cold dived on him. Shynron then won hitting that crazy as hell 630ish senton to 2 Cold Scorpio. Scorpio raised his hand after the match. 4. Team AAA def. Nightmare Warriors. Fenix cursed and that shattered the Nightmare Warriors confidence to win. This match was probably the best one of the 2 nights so far. Fenix hated Frightmare's guts and kicked him so hard he had shoe prints on his arms. Fenix got the win with a 450 splash. Ref threw up the X's on Aerostar who I think hurt his leg or his ribs on a dive. 5. SPECIAL MOVE MATCH: 3.0 & N_R_G def. Colony Xtreme Force & Flying Francis(?). Magic move was a vertical suplex so lots of teases there. 3.0 frisked Bryce before the match and found a Red Bull. Big Magic went to drink it but the NRG guys said no and pulled out Stan Malibu's energy drink that they are shilling and gave it to Big Magic. He drank it and became super charged. Big 8 man Vertical Suplex spot that got us all free stickers!!!!!! Fenix emptied the merch table and left. Some fans were also escorted out. I missed what move they pinned one of the Francis guys on. 6. Quarter Finals Match: Bullet Club def. Battleborn. Condron's group jumped the Bizz Clizz before the bell. Condron tried to get in a group Too Sweet at one point before getting super kicked. AJ Styles went to jump on the ropes again at one point but thought not to because the ropes were loose last night. He did his finger gun taunt and Missile Assault Man had a war flash back and wrestled the gun out of AJ's hand and kicked it out of the crowd. AJ then did the double guns and MAM superkicked the gun into the crowd and then pulled out his own before getting invited to a super kick party. Double Indytaker onto MAM and I think Juke Joint Callhoun to end the match. 7. Rey de Voladores Match: Mark Andrews def. Ophidian, Mascara Purpura and Pinkie Sanchez. Pinkie had his Pazuzu gear on and heeled up the open of the match until he was eliminated by Mandrews with a spike rana. Purpura won the crowd over even though he only showed up in this match. He was then eliminated with a fancy roll up by Ophidian. Ophidian and Mark Andrews exchanges were wild with a crazy tombstone Canadian Destroyer, that wasn't the finish. Mandrews hit a reverse rana and then his fly as hell Shooting Star to win. 8. Dev Corp def. Arcane Horde - Oleg wanted to continue being a part of the Horde but Bakabella kept shoving his contract in his face so he kept leaving the ring or stopping himself from diving on the Corp. Batiri basically battled the match 2 on 3 style and almost won it a couple of times. There was a big ref bump on Bryce with Blaster fall away slamming Kodama onto Bryce. Dev Corp then started beating down Bryce harder along with the Batiri. They dragged Mantis into the ring as well and Oleg had enough. Bakabella stopped him again demanded him to break Mantis' leg with the loaded envelope of money. Oleg threw it down and Bakabella started poking him in the stomach and face with Mantis' crutch. Oleg snapped punched Bakabella then unloaded on the Dev Corp clotheslining them over the ropes. Bakabella got back in Oleg's face with the contract but Oleg forced him down on the ground ripped the contract up and then Decapitated Bakabella knocking his wig flying. Dev Corp made a comeback, taped Oleg to the ropes then hit their double team moves on the Batiri while he watched. New ref came down and counted the pin. Dev Corp then beat down the injured Mantis while Oleg watched and they smashed his leg with the crutches. No one stopped the Dev Corp. Oleg finally got free and chased them to the back. Him and the Batiri carried Mantis to the back. Bakabella's corpse was still in the ring as people left. KungFu Grip fucked around with this message at 07:05 on Sep 6, 2015 |

KungFu Grip posted:Bakabella's corpse was still in the ring as people left. A ton of people took selfies with Bakabella's unmoving carcass. As awesome as the flippy tournament matches were tonight, the main event was especially good on a storyline level. I'd consider it the best Chikara match of the year due to being both great payoff to Oleg's slow burn face turn and a viable push into the next phase of the feud.

Ropes were tightened every time before one of their matches so far. Drago did come up short a bit on a catapult dive but still landed on wicked. Aero did his no handed missile dive to the outside which was nuts.

Didn't notice anything wrong. They seemed pretty crisp. Many hours later and I'm still laughing about Fenix. It was so in-your-face! I honestly can't even blame Quack for losing his poo poo.

I heard shocking unconfirmed reports that noted child killer and war criminal Missile Assault Ant was allowed to sell merchandise while noted good wrestler and embodiment of life Fenix was not because he said a bad word. Shocking if true.

Preposterous! Missile Assault Man doesn't have any merch! Anyway, it looks like things may have smoothed over. I got a notification that a bunch of Chikara personalities started following Fenix on Twitter. Fenix tweeted a couple apologies and Dasher Hatfield told him it was cool and good luck at today's show.

Anyway, here's my prediction for today's show: - Shynron wins back-to-back RDV. - DevCorp defeat Fight Club Pro. - Bullet Club defeat Team AAA. - Bullet Club defeat DevCorp.

epitasis posted:murder is worse than cusses Depends on the context. Death is a regular part of fictional entertainment, including G-rated movies. Anyway, tonight's results: - Team AAA beat DevCorp. Upon entering the ring, Fenix was greeted with huge chants of "WE FORGIVE YOU!" He grabbed a mic and apologized for his outburst yesterday. After AAA won, DevCorp got in a big argument with each other. Fans started chanting "BACK TO BACK!" in the style of the "BO, LEAVE!" NXT chants. - Bullet Club beat Fight Club Pro. Great match, although the repeat spot of the airplane spin/big swing combo looked pretty flat this time around. Great moment had AJ about to do a plancha off the ropes that he tripped on in Night 1. He was building up to it, jumped up, one of the opponents grabbed his leg and pulled him to the floor. - Crown and Court beat Gentleman's Club in a 4-on-4 CotI match. Lots and lots of great comedy here while Gulak and Kimber Lee wanted it to be serious and for there to be actual wrestling. Chuck Taylor really laid into Swamp Monster verbally here. - Tag Gauntlet was crazy. Teams included Throwbacks, some bee and grasshopper duo, 3.0, Blue Meanie and Simon Dean (not Nova), one of the English teams, Osirian Portal working together for the first time in months, Juke Joint and Missile Assault Man, Colony XTREME Force and BDK. Highlight was 3.0 vs. bWo, where Meanie and Parker had an epic thumb wrestling spot. 3.0 hinted at a heel turn by Parker pinning Dean with feet on the ropes. After Battleborn showed up and beat Osirian Portal, Colony XTREME Force showed up. Missile Assault Man looked conflicted, but fought against them. After they won, Condron grabbed the mic and said that he blamed MAM for their Trios loss and since Condron and Juke Joint have seen their friends get killed, MAM had to kill his old buddies. Fans chanted "NO MORE DEATH!" and MAM decided not to do it. Condron decided to do it himself and took out Orbit Adventure Ant with the Deucalion choke-breaker. Pinkie Sanchez and Nokken quickly came in and beat them to win the Gauntlet. Afterwards, Arctic Rescue Ant kept trying to revive his fallen friend like the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. - Heidi Lovelace beat Proletariat Boar in an okay match. Juan Francisco was livid afterwards. - Mandrews beat Shynron to win RDV. Afterwards, Shynron got really mad and held up the 2014 plaque in response as if that meant anything. He ended up storming off. - Team AAA beat Bullet Club. Awesome match despite some botching (ie. Fenix's top rope run). Afterwards, Bullet Club walked off, but eventually came back to embrace the winners. Fenix dedicated their win to Perro Aguayo Jr.

We had car problems on the way over and wound up missing the first match but got there in time to watch the Bucks. It was a great time. Bryce wasn't there so I couldn't get Chuck Taylor to sign another picture of him but I still got to buy stuff off of him. Now I can't wait until the finale in Philly.

Yuriy posted:I think it's just a general statement/sentiment and one I heartily agree with Yeah it's basically just an expression of disdain for everything I've heard about Quack over a long period of time. I just have no respect whatsoever for a guy who flips a poo poo about a curse word at LITERALLY the same time he's running a storyline of a character being a war criminal who blew up a school bus full of children in Zimbabwe. Plus the couch thing, and all kinds of stuff. Put it all together and it's like, go gently caress yourself.

Well, whatever Quack said or did, the end result was not affected because not only did Fenix come back for Night 3, but his team won, he got the pin on the final match, and got to cut 2 promos on the mic. If anything, the cursing on Night 2 helped him with the crowd because I felt like Drago was more over than him on Night 1. That changed completely by Night 3. The real test of how pissed Quack is about it is if he ever gets booked again. Crowd absolutely wants all 3 back, so it will be interesting to see.

It's weird though. No one at the shows treats the whole murdering kids as a big deal. Like none of the kids I saw were crying when Orbit got murdered in front of them today. I think kids treat wrestlers dying in CHIKARA like Pokemon being defeated.
