You should get every one of them on a map as pick up locations whether its scrap or history relic or something else if you get every base's survey team.

That's just it, I've cleared every camp and I got the achievement for it, but somewhere I missed that one history relic. Is there one in a Stronghold I don't know about?

Is it wrong that I enjoy the driving model in this game? It's so satisfying to drive round sand dunes, kicking up dust and running down fools on foot.
Apparently I have the Ripper DLC somehow, I don't remember buying it but more spikes are good times I guess.

Ive got this funny thing with open world games now. I've played a few where I've just been side questing and because I haven't 'unlocked' key features of the game I spent the majority of my time without the coolest toys. So in GTA5 I didn't want to play 'gimped' so I just kept doing story.. until I finished it before I really realized. You've gotta do enough story that the game opens up properly and you're playing the whole thing.. but then I wanna stop and do open world exploring and progress the main plot when I've got the unlocks/upgrades from hours of exploring.

It's hard sometimes to pick where that point is and I either do too much story or too little.

Really good games like Morrowind actually told you straight up, ok, go off into the open world now and basically leave the main characters alone for a bit, please.
I've been burned in a few open world games where progressing the story locks you out of certain areas or kills off characters so you can't do their side missions anymore.

Couple that with games like "The Saboteur" or "Red Faction Guerrilla" where the game actively rewards you for doing side missions and blowing poo poo up in the world before tackling the story missions, and I've made it a habit in all open world games that I go nuts with side stuff as much as possible before doing story missions.

I love that I was free to toss a lit gas can over the side of a catwalk before really "getting" to the area of the camp these guys were in. Took out the War Crier and set the dudes to yelling for the next couple minutes while I made my way down. Just seemed like something I wouldn't be able to do, with invisible walls next to the walkway or something.

There are several hidden around gas town's labyrinth of an underbelly and the mission unlocked areas involving Buzzards.

I found it, and it looks like I'm not the only person that missed it. History Relic #97 is located in Pink Eye's Stronghold on the top floor, along the outside wall. Next time you guys are in Pink Eye's be sure to grab it if you haven't yet.

It's not looking good for mods. One, the game is overshadowed by Metal Gear and two, it has some form of DRM that's a pain in the rear end and does weird file protection poo poo.

Yeah Warner Brothers doesn't do mods, I was never expecting them. DLC is what i'm holding out for, especially a New Game Plus or extended end game.

Oh it was a stronghold relic? Yeah, most of them have a piece of history squirreled away in every base as well.

Anyone else think the game isn't so good after you're like, a third to a half of the way through? Maybe I've grabbed too much loot and cleared too many side bits, but I'm horribly overpowered with all this shotgun ammo and mega harpoon, fights are trivial to the point I am avoiding using all my cool powers to drag them out a bit. The danger has gone :(

Chum and max seem like way too good shots to me. I'd probably like to see a system where you hold the opus steady for a few seconds next to target while chum lines it up and a reticle locks on, rather than the instant weak point sniping we get.

Some people have standards and will not eat maggots. Also Max never opens those tins of dogfood so the loving thing is open, rotting, in the dusty Wasteland before he eats it.

Max's fists aren't poo poo in comparison to his gut.

Here are a couple of my favourites. I also take too many screenshots.

Look at the rest i've uploaded here, if you want.

I am totally in love with this game. So glad I took the punt on it, it's been really awesome. So many small touches and references which really seal it. And then re-watching Fury Road afterward, you can see just how much stuff was pretty much lifted from that, to brilliant effect. I'm glad the studio used the "world" but went their own way with a story and such, I think it's a much better game than a straight up tie-in would have been.

I had the same thing. You get the full ones from a mission or something and the previous ones are tied to threat levels somewhere I think.

The less useful spikes are used on some of the Archangels so if you want to do those races you'll need to unlock them. Don't worry, by the time you're worrying about completionism, if at all, you'll be swimming in scrap.

Also, the full ones do not always stop boarders anyway.

Don't the spikes add weight? I hate loving up my handling but I refuse to not use the BIGGEST LOUDEST ENGINE I have access to, so I never use the boarding spikes. It's fun frantically juking war boys off the car mid-battle anyway.

Don't think they add weight, and boarders still jump and hang on regardless.

how do they work?
I didn't notice them add weight at all. They literally seem like "this is the best upgrade".

E: If you want a boarder to get stabbed on them, either break as the guy jumps or hit the Nos, I find it more fun to swerve away and watch him plow into the ground though.
