I do have a decent BatChat crew in my CDC now, though! So, they'll be ready when I need them in what... a couple years probably? I flipped out about arty because I came around one of the hills on Overlord in my Rudy, got spotted, and immediately got nuked by two shells. The arty must have been pre-aimed at my position because it was drat near instantaneous. I know 6th sense has a two second delay, but that's generally enough time for me to duck back behind cover. What a fun addition artillery is to any map!

If anyone's interested, they're testing the new motion physics again. You can DL the physics test client installer from the Russian site: http://worldoftanks.ru/ru/news/pc-browser/1/phisics_test/ I wonder if they're gonna have super-buffed Cunninghams again for "extreme conditions testing" like that one time, because that poo poo was the most awesome poo poo.

I managed to find 3 arties in my Type 61 and promptly hit the windows button when I wanted to check that I was on the right mission, leading to me killing 2 whilst the almost finished third was knocked off by a scout who had been camping in our base up to that point.

So I wanted to know the magic that was the LTTB and T-54 ltwt. The closest I was to starting that tree was the T-34. I had it maxed out when I was trying to get the T-44 back in the day before giving up on Russian tonks I just bought a Type 59 instead. Last week I rebought the T-34, put a poo poo 75% crew in it put some spare modules on it and fired up some games with the sole purpose of grinding to the MT-25 and selling it. Now, I remember thinking the T-34 was average at best and seriously thought everybody who said it was amazing was on crack... I am now on crack as well. I can actually carry in this tank, which is fantastic. Yesterday I had a 7 kill game for the first time in a long long time. It helps I'm playing against a bunch of lovely / newer people, but I don't care. I use the zis (zip) gun and out DPM everybody. I'm not selling it again, I even bought real modules and a paint job for it. I basically play it like a Cromwell B, rock back and forth ripping into to people every 2 seconds, and bounce shots that I feel like I shouldn't. Red tanks are usually down to less than 50% health before they know what is going on. A lot of people must use the gun with more pen/alpha because people rock out from behind cover just as I get another round in the chamber. When I get tired of being blown up repeatedly in my T7/8 light tanks, this is my new go to tank. If I didn't play so badly with it before (2+ years ago), my win percent would probably be over 60% in it now.

http://worldoftanks.com/uc/tournaments/1463-Match_up_Melee_5/ Yo everyone get yourself a Luchs or Matilda and sign up for this poo poo. You get a totally random team of 13 players and get to play 5v5 tier 4s. If you get 3 good players and 2 people who show up and actually listen, it's insanely easy gold because the majority of teams you face won't have 5 people, and very few will have more than 2 good players. Hooray! Basically register a team with only you, then click the "apply" button on the team page. Don't sign up through the email they sent out about this - it frequently doesn't work. If your team is total trash players with only one 51% dude and a ton of 45%ers just don't bother trying. You'll have lost nothing.

I still have my T-34 from long ago -- it was the first tank I had a 100% crew in and the first I bought modules for. It's an incredibly forgiving and versatile tank. Thanks to its low hull, tiny turret, and 8 degrees of gun depression (the most of any Soviet tank afaik) a good player can abuse tiny divots in the terrain and out-trade basically any opponent at any range. I think that's the key to its carrying power.

Finished the O-I t6 japs Heavy grind The tank is a mobile fortress, can bully same tiers and lower with impunity. together with a great gun, there's nothing stopping it. it can even duke it out With t8's frontally. But its slow, cant react if you put yourself in a bad position, and that takes some Learning to recongize.. also, you cannot take advantige of breakthroughs/flanking because of said speed. did bad With it beginning, after playing the mobile t5 bullymobile, you have to adjust to -not- pushing/moving that much. last 20 games was mostly rolfstomps doh, With 2k average, quite good for a slow tank.

So, motion physics trip report. You can use whatever tank you want, not just the limited assortment they had in the first test1 You can climb upward on steeper slopes, dependent on the slope and your vehicle of course. Some are still unclimbable without help. When in awkward locations you generally have more mobility, but I nearly got stuck after highcentering a Jagdtiger. The differences between low and high speeds are much more drastic; even most heavy tanks feel like they leap to 20 km/h almost instantly, but accelerating at high speed is noticeably slower compared to before. The low/high speed cutoff on the batchat seems to be 40km/h or so, the Jagdtiger is somewhere around 15? Light tanks can pull J-turns, so can really fast mediums. Bouncing in sniper mode almost totally eliminated, I didn't notice any on flat and even moderately flat natural ground; only grossly wavy ground will make one notice. Couldn't get any ramming going on in any way I would've liked, couldn't test that. Did have fun flipping onto my turret though and exploding 30 seconds later. Overall, 4.5/5, would test again.
